Romano British Umbonate Enamelled Brooch

A rare survivor a complete with pin Umbonate Roman Brooch, still retaining its enamel in red and green/blue. Made from bronze with a central raised boss of four petal cells terminating in a small knop. Missing one of the small bronze terminals around the outside, found in Lincolnshire. Old ticket included from the dealer A,G & S GILLIS..A superb of Roman Art.
